   To save money:

• Book at least 30 days in advance for best rates.

• Consider self-drive if comfortable; otherwise driver-included may add value for busy business trips.

Q: Am I required to hire a driver in Rwanda?
A: No: you can opt for self-drive if you hold a valid driving licence (preferably international) and feel comfortable with Rwanda’s roads. For remote areas or business trips we recommend a driver for convenience.

Q: What age do I need to be to rent a car in Rwanda?
A: Minimum age is typically 21; some vehicles may require a minimum of 25. Young-driver surcharges may apply.

Q: Can I cross into Uganda or DRC with your rental?
A: Yes for selected 4X4 vehicles and subject to border-crossing policies, extra insurance and paperwork. Please enquire when booking.

Q: Are fuel and tolls included in the rate?
A: Fuel is excluded. We charge at the actual cost. Most tolls inside Rwanda are minimal, but if you travel to neighbouring countries additional fees may apply.

Q: What happens if I cancel my booking?
