Our terms & Conditions

1. AGREEMENT

By booking any tour or vehicle rental with Kingfisher Tours Ltd (“the Company”), you (“the Client”) agree to these Terms and Conditions.

2. BOOKING AND PAYMENT

  • Bookings are confirmed upon receipt of deposit (typically 30%)
  • Full payment required 45 days before service start date
  • For bookings made within 45 days, full payment required immediately
  • For car rentals with Company-provided driver, full payment must be made via transfer or pay the full amount upon arrival or before the start of the trip

3. PRICES

  • Tour prices include only services listed in the tour description
  • Vehicle rentals include basic insurance and maintenance (excludes fuel, additional insurance, fines, additional equipment)
  • We reserve the right to adjust prices due to circumstances beyond our control

4. CANCELLATION POLICY

  • More than 45 days before departure: Only deposit retained
  • 45-31 days before departure: 75% of total cost charged (excluding refundable permit fees)
  • 30-21 days before departure: 50% of total cost charged (excluding refundable permit fees)
  • 14-8 days before departure: 75% of total cost charged
  • 7 days or less before departure: 100% non-refundable
  • No refunds for unused services or early vehicle return

5. CHANGES

  • Client changes must be requested in writing and incur a 20% administration fee
  • The Company reserves the right to make necessary changes to tour itineraries due to circumstances beyond our control

6. VEHICLE RENTAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Valid driving license required (held for minimum one year)
  • Security deposit required at vehicle collection
  • Vehicle must be returned in same condition as received
  • Full tank fuel policy applies
  • Prohibited use includes: off-road driving (unless permitted), overloading, illegal activities, driving under influence
  • Client responsible for all traffic violations and fines
  • When a driver is provided by the Company, daily driver fees apply and working hours are limited to 12 hours per day with overtime charges applicable thereafter

7. INSURANCE

  • Basic insurance included in vehicle rental price
  • Client responsible for damages not covered by insurance
  • Travel insurance strongly recommended for all clients

8. LIABILITY

  • The Company’s liability limited to the cost of services provided
  • The Company not liable for circumstances beyond reasonable control
  • The Company not responsible for third-party service providers

9. COMPLAINTS

  • Issues must be reported immediately to tour leader, local representative, or rental office
  • Unresolved issues must be submitted in writing within 28 days of service conclusion.
